NDSS Subsidy
The Commonwealth Government offers a subsidy to reduce the cost of some diabetes management products. To obtain this subsidy, register with the National Diabetes Supply Scheme by following the steps below.
- Go to the NDSS webpage and click on the “Download Registration Form” link.
- Download, print and fill out the form.
- Have a Medical Practitioner or Credentialled Diabetes Educator sign the form to declare that the person has diabetes.
- Submit the form by mail or in person at IDI (see instructions on form).
The person will be issued with a plastic card for the purchase of subsidised products.
