NDSS Subsidy

The Commonwealth Government offers a subsidy to reduce the cost of some diabetes management products. To obtain this subsidy, register with the National Diabetes Supply Scheme by following the steps below. 

  1. Go to the NDSS webpage and click on the “Download Registration Form” link.
  2. Download, print and fill out the form.
  3. Have a Medical Practitioner or Credentialled Diabetes Educator sign the form to declare that the person has diabetes.
  4. Submit the form by mail or in person at IDI (see instructions on form).

The person will be issued with a plastic card for the purchase of subsidised products.
